One of the earliest Tian Hou/Mazu Temples in Taiwan. This one is small and well-preserved. There is a Tian Hou Guest House 天后會所 next door.

Besides multiple images of Tian Hou we can find a Sakyamuni in front, serving as thể first deity encountered upon entering. to the side are smaller altars to Wen Chang 文昌 and TI Sui 太歲. And that’s it! Not many halls. But superb images and inscriptions.

There is a ceiling sculpture in thể side aisle worth contemplating. And another just inside the door. Both are exceptional quality.
